We have had such an exciting time with finishing up our summer and bringing in fall. I got the chance to attend several Supreme Queen visitations around the area. JPQ Krista Williams and I traveled together to visit the temples in Indianapolis and Lexington. This was an amazing experience I will not soon forget. I was also blessed enough to travel with several Isis Temple members to Neith Temple in Madisonville, KY. Pr. Royal Cheryl Stader and I traveled along with SQ Shirley Henley to St. Louis for their official visit as well. There were a lot of fun and laughs to say the least.
She stated that our memory work was the BEST, so I would like to thank everyone who worked so very hard to make all of this happen!
At our official visit and ceremonial, we welcomed four new members to Isis Temple. They are Jeanette Bullock, Christian Weaver, Brenda Vincent, and Jennifer Cross. Welcome to our new princesses! We are so very excited for you to join this wonderful organization!
Thank you to everyone who helped with the 4-H Fair concessions, worked or attended our annual Fall Card Party, and supported our annual BBQ sale. All were successful fundraisers. We are doing excellent in our fundraising endeavors this year!
Remember, we have another ceremonial scheduled for the evening of our February Stated Session. Who do you know that you’d like to propose for membership? Let’s get our membership goals surpassed this year!
It was great to see so many smiling faces at our September Stated Session. We were happy to honor our Past Queens. In November, we honor Founders Day with a history lesson from PQ Nancy Markham. We will also be honoring our 50-year members and recognizing our members who have become legacy members.
I would like to thank my receptions committee: Pr. Nancy Clem, Pr. Millie Rumble, and Pr. Sylvia Pharris for all of their hard work with making the reception décor beautiful for the Supreme Queen official visit banquet. I was truly impressed! You all outdid yourselves! Thank you for all that you do.
Monday, Dec. 3, we will have a Christmas party after our Stated Session, hosted by the Dancers and Pageantry unit.
The Princeton Nile Club Cookie Exchange will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11, at R’Z in Ft. Branch. We will meet at 12 p.m. for lunch and to exchange our cookies. If you are able to attend, please bring three dozen cookies to trade. If you wish to carpool, we meet at the Holiday Inn Airport on Hwy 41 around 11:30 a.m. Please contact Pr. Royal Cheryl Stader at 812-453-2450.
I hope each and every one of you have a very happy and safe holiday season. I look forward to sharing this season of love and good cheer with you.
